FAIRDRAWcreate a raffle

You set the rules and the clock; the site does the rest in public. Once the snapshot time passes nothing here can be edited — the entry list is hashed and the draw is already committed to a block that has not been mined.

your X account

Anyone can run a raffle here — there is nobody to ask. Signing in only proves the account is yours, so the handle on your raffle is one nobody else could have typed. FAIRDRAW reads your username once and never posts as you.

Shown on the raffle marked unverified, because anyone could type it. A name a verified account already uses is refused.

what is being given away

Put @0xfinne's wallet on the list. He built this site and runs it for nothing. One spot, granted outright — taken out of the drawn spots, so the prize stays the size you announced, and published in the result as granted.

who is eligible

holders of identity.md on Ethereum

Wallets below this are not in the snapshot at all.

Skip vaults and bridges. Smart-account wallets still count — a quarter of this collection sits in one, and listing an NFT never moves it.

how the spots are split

Top X holders
Ranked by balance, awarded outright. Nothing is drawn.
x
X random holders
One ticket per eligible wallet, size and duration ignored.
x
Top X holders, then Y random
The top holders leave the pool before the draw, so nobody wins twice.
x y
Top X holders, then Y weighted by hold time
Holders are ranked by days held and split into eleven bands, 2x for the longest-held down to a plain 1x for the newest.
x y

Hold time runs from the last moment a wallet crossed the minimum and stayed above it, to the snapshot; selling below the line resets it. The weight is a rank, not a clock: the longest-held band gets 2x and the newest a plain 1x, so the bands stay meaningfully filled however old the collection gets, and the best odds are never more than exactly twice the worst. Wallets that crossed on the same day always share a band.

when

The holder set freezes here. At least 2 minutes out.

At least 5 minutes after the snapshot, so the beacon block is genuinely unknown.
